Ik ben het niet helemaal eens met de volgorde waarin films er uit zijn geknikkerd (waarom Hook als eerste?), maar ben wel blij dat The Lost World er eindelijk uit is. Ik vind dat Catch Me If You Can er ook wel vrij snel uit moet, maar verder zitten de terechte films er nog in, voor zover ik ze gezien heb dan.

Films als 1941 en The Sugarland Express heb ik nog nooit gezien, dus jammer dat ik daar niet op kan stemmen.

Ik heb proberen te achterhalen waar we in deze Steven Spielberg-game onderweg punten zijn verloren die er nooit officieel af zijn getrokken. We begonnen immers met 75 punten en op pagina 42 komen we ineens maar tot maximaal 73 punten. Ik kwam uit op de volgende bevindingen.

Op pagina 37, in de post van Colonel Kurz, ontbreekt er ineens een punt. Dat komt omdat Kurz de film Jaws een extra punt geeft, maar dit vergeet door te rekenen. Jaws komt niet op 3 maar op 4.

Op pagina 38, in mijn eigen post – waarvoor mijn excuses, ontbreekt ineens het volgende punt in vergelijking met de post van Shine die direct boven mijn post staat. Mijn pluspunt gaat uit naar Minority Report, maar omdat ik die tevens vergeet door te rekenen, blijft Minority Report op 3 staan in plaats van wat het moet zijn: 4.

Iedereen kan alles nachecken en ik stel voor dat we dan weer met 75 vertekken vanaf nu. Als ik ook zo vrij mag zijn om deze oneffenheden weg te nemen en dit gelijk door te rekenen, komt de lijst er als volgt uit te zien, met de veranderingen dikgedrukt:

Dat is denk ik ook een klein nadeel van dit systeem. Films die weinig mensen gezien hebben, zullen er relatief lang in blijven staan. Dat zegt echter niks over hun kwaliteit.

Ik vind overigens ook dat Hook wel érg snel is weggestemd. Hook de slechtste Spielberg? Pff, gewaagde uitspraak

Zo lijkt alles weer helemaal op orde te zijn, zonder dat er onterechte afvallers zijn (qua puntenaftrek dan, niet qua film)
